Bauer opens 2025 season in Snowmobile at World Championship Derby Complex

Lake, Michigan's Cody Bauer kicked off his 2025 season this past weekend piloting the Tommie Bauer Racing No. 19 Snowmobile for the World Championship Snowmobile Derby at the World Championship Derby Complex (Eagle River, Wis.).

Joining teammate Luke Krentz, Bauer elected to use his qualifying effort from his first sled on Saturday after going 18th-fastest amongst 35 entries.

On Sunday, Bauer raced into the 62nd World Championship Snowmobile Derby with the final transfer spot in his heat. Starting in 12th, Cody climbed four positions to register an eighth-place finish.
